Pradera Management Italy is delighted to reveal a new look for Itaca Shopping Centre
Formia , Italy

Following a €1.5m investment and eight months of light refurbishment and restyling works, Itaca Shopping Centre received a new contemporary look over the summer.

Besides a brand refresh reflected in the crips new logo, the exterior of the shopping centre has benefitted from new greenery installations on the façade complementing the architecture of the building, and a new tactile pavement to improve the centre’s accessibility.  New indoor and outdoor LED video walls make the new look of the Centre complete.

The popular shopping destination located on the Mediterranean coast halfway between Rome and Naples has been managed by Pradera since 2008, when it was first acquired by its Pradera European Retail Fund. In 2018, the fund sold Itaca Shopping Centre as part of a portfolio deal to Marathon Asset Management, with Pradera Management Italy retaining the asset management contract for the centres since then.

Itaca Shopping Centre has a GLA of circa 27,500 sqm accommodating 65 units of which 7 medium-sized currently occupied by leading brands including Panorama, Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Intimissimi Uomo, Tezenis, Cisalfa, Piazza Italia, Unieuro, Alcott, McDonalds and Sephora. The centre is now virtually fully let and currently employs around 600 people.

Imminent plans for the asset include obtaining a BREEAM In-Use certification which is in line with our sustainability initiatives.
