H&M unveils world-first store fit-out at Trafford Centre
Manchester, United Kingdom

H&M is opening a world-first 2,713m² store at Trafford Centre, featuring a range of exciting new elements, concepts and services – including the much-anticipated H&M HOME. This new concept store will open on April 14th.

Located in a prime position across the upper and lower levels of Trafford Centre’s Peel Avenue, the new store will have an open façade, removing its windows, a world-first store design for the retailer. This revamp is one of H&M’s biggest store investments this year as they continue to invest in communities outside of London, leveraging the strength of Manchester’s fashion credentials and the importance of the region.

H&M will be hosting a weekend of exclusive activities for the opening of the new store, working with local Manchester businesses to take part in the launch and offering exclusive access to H&M members.

Toni Galli, H&M UK & Ireland Country Manager, commented: “We are excited to be opening our world-leading H&M Trafford Centre store on April 14th, offering our loyal Manchester customers a brand-new look and feel unlike anything our UK customers have ever experienced. During our launch program, and in the coming months, we are partnering with local creators and businesses in Manchester to support the local community, proving how committed we are to Manchester and delivering the best possible shopping experience for our customers. More information coming soon!”

Rhys Evans, Director of Asset Management at Pradera Lateral said, “H&M is a hugely popular retailer at Trafford Centre and we are certain that the store’s new concept will suit the centre perfectly. It is great to see such a prominent retailer choosing Trafford Centre as the location for a world-first store and investing in the centre with such a significant space. We are always keen to support retail brands in their evolution, helping them to bring fresh ideas and developments to life. This new concept H&M store is a perfect example of this and we look forward to seeing our visitors’ reactions.”
