Italy’s leading bookstore chain, Giunti al Punto, has recently opened two new stores, marking a significant expansion across key northern locations.
The first opening took place at La Cittadella Shopping Centre in Casale Monferrato, where two adjoining units were combined to create a larger, more inviting retail space. This was swiftly followed by a second launch at Le Centurie Shopping Centre near Padua.
Both stores feature the brand’s signature contemporary design, characterised by clean lines and the brand’s hallmark orange ribbon motif that guides visitors through an immersive retail experience.
The launch at Le Centurie was met with immediate success, with the store reporting a +6.31% increase in turnover compared to the same period last year. At La Cittadella, the local community responded enthusiastically, with an opening announcement post on Facebook gaining over 2,000 views within hours.
With over 260 bookstores nationwide across historic town centres, airports, shopping centres, and tourist destinations, Giunti al Punto confirms its position as Italy’s most widespread bookstore chain. The brand is part of Giunti Editore SpA, the country’s second-largest publishing group, founded in 1841.
