Trafford Centre has announced a bumper year for new stores, with 20 new brands opening innovative and prestigious stores throughout 2023 – with 9 arriving in the final quarter alone. The centre, which celebrated a milestone 25th birthday in September, continues to see demand from global fashion brands, high street giants and affordable luxury retailers.
Over the past 12 months, the leading retail and destination shopping centre has launched a diverse mix of renowned brands including lululemon, Bath & Body Works, Lounge and L’Occitane.
Store highlights this year include retailers EE, Nespresso and River Island investing in the centre by relocating or upsizing existing stores. Each of the brands has introduced innovative store features, new technology and services that enhance the in-store experience. Examples include digital changing rooms, LED screens and hands-on point of sale features.

With a full marketing and events calendar during 2023, the centre has seen volumes of visitors at experiential events with brand partners including Pokémon and Netflix, plus welcomed 7000 guests to its show-stopping 25th Birthday celebration.
