Mosaic Shanghai Launches M-Square to Create Exciting New Landmark

Global retail asset management specialist Pradera Retail Asia, the asset manager of Mosaic Shanghai, has announced today the opening of M-Square at Mosaic Shanghai, with a ceremony attended by senior executives from Pradera Retail Asia and Mosaic Shanghai, as well as tenant representatives. A rich variety of innovative performances and interactive activities were organized during the launch day, setting off on an exciting and entertaining journey.

Mosaic Shanghai is aimed at becoming one of the leading shopping, leisure and F&B destinations for the young Millennials. The meaning of “Mosaic” in Chinese represents joy and fashion. Leveraging on a rich lineup of domestic and international brands, Mosaic Shanghai is filled with young and trendy elements. The launch of M-Square, a themed area within the shopping mall, targets at young consumers through a unique collection of niche cosmetic and lifestyle offering, highlighting the brand value of Mosaic Shanghai.

Located at the ground floor of Mosaic shanghai, M-Square assembles various brands with great popularity among young consumers, covering cosmetics, F&B and accessories. Brands opened at M-Square include: Korean cosmetic brand Too Cool For School, Taiwanese bubble tea store Bu’er Tea, trendy colored contact lens shop Sweet Color, Hong Kong original drink mixes and watering hole Beauty Bowly, well-known fragrance collection store Scent Boutique, fashion eyewear brand Rebel Without A Clause, as well as popular coffee store 72 Now.

Rhys Evans, Head of Asset Management at Pradera Retail Asia attended the ceremony and said: “We are thrilled to celebrate the official launch of M-Square in Mosaic Shanghai. It further strengthens our aim of establishing Mosaic Shanghai as the most desirable destination for young locals and visitors. And this is just the first step toward our various offerings here at Mosaic Shanghai.”

Alison Rehill-Erguven, CEO of Pradera Retail Asia had this to say, “Today we are celebrating the culmination of creativity, hard work and focus. I am very proud of the PRA team and what we have accomplished and this is only the beginning.”

Mosaic Shanghai is located on the busiest pedestrian street in the city, positioned next to three subway exits, with Metro Line 2 and 10 available. The project has a total construction area of 40,270 square meters and seven floors covering a wide variety of businesses, including dining, lifestyle and entertainment. It is one of the entertainment leading malls on the East Nanjing Road.

Mosaic Shanghai is one of the four retail properties Pradera Retail Asia currently manages and operates in China.
